Greetings,

I want to buy a P4P v1 with camera/gimbal only. I do not need a battery or RC or props. Just a perfectly operating aircraft with no damage history please. I'm in Jax Beach, Florida, USA. Please reply or private message me here or email or call me via contact info at www.wavepilot.com.

Thank you,

Alex Fisher

Trying now to ascertain fair market values for operating aircraft only.

I have a crashed P4P that fell into grass from about 25 feet that can be cannibalized for parts that I am also trying to ascertain FMV if anyone is interested or wants to chime in. Photos attached.

If it was me, put on a new shell, gimble and ribbon. Looks salvageable to me for about $50 and a tool kit. Assuming camera still works.
If body not cracked, maybe just legs.

Capt KO, Where can I buy 2 legs, a new shell, new ribbon, new gimble arm for $50?

eBay. Make sure ribbon oem dji. Aftermarket works for the rest. Reuse lower shell that attaches to gimble. If body ok just buy new legs, gimble part, ribbon. Sometimes yaw motor is crash damaged. Lots of YouTube vids.
Hopefully you can start the drone, as is, to see if internals and gps ok. Cameras are pretty tough. Up to you if worth it or if capable.

Found! I'll wrap this thread announcing that I sent the crashed P4P to DJI for a repair quote and they sent me a completely different like-new (refurbished, I presume) P4P for $311 that operated perfectly on its test flight yesterday. That's better than I was expecting to have to pay on the open used market.

You just never know what DJI might do. I have exactly the same experience. Just don't send one with water damage or even a hint of water damage. If the little red DJI sticker turns red they won't touch it
