Just did a field test with my Amazon Fire Stick and Yuneec Skyview headset. Worked like a charm!

Note: A female to female HDMI adapter is necessary:

And a powerbank charger to power the Fire Stick.

Here's my setup:

1. Yuneec Skyview goggles
2. Amazon Fire Stick
3. Samsung S7
4. ZeroLemon Powerbank and micro USB Cable
5. Female to female HDMI adapter

Make sure you disconnect your tablet/smartphone from your home Wi-Fi first so that you can 'connect/mirror' to the Fire Stick.
In other words, you'll use the Fire Stick as a Wi-Fi access point for your tablet or smartphone.
