Wifi module mods

Hi,

I have got my wifi module fully dissasembled and would like to mod it. Has anyone got any ideas on how to increase range and eliminate the overheat feature from happening again.

I would be interested in any mod for the wifi module, whatever it does though.

I have applied thermal paste which seems to be the obvious mod.

In addition to the thermal paste, I also opened up the shell vent holes to allow for more prop wash to enter and cool the unit.
