Hello all, I have been flying rc models for quite some time and started with drones a few years ago but photography is new to me.My question is which one of the plethora of camera lenses for p4 is a good go to for all around video quality?also any video editing apps for apple products that you use. Thanks for your replies

I will assume you are interested in filters (other than the standard skylight filter that is supplied with the AC). The most useful are the neutral density (ND). The benefit with ND's is they reduce the amount of light admitted into the lens allowing you to record video at a lower shutter speed- reducing artefacts known as jello as the primary benefit with a more cinematic look to your footage as an added bonus. Look at getting ND 8, 16 and 32 for best usefulness.

In the UK I use an ND04 on cloud filled days and ND08 on a sunny day (Which still features a few clouds).
Would be interested to learn what shutter speed you are getting with the ND4 @ISO100. Perhaps the benefit of variable aperture on a P4 pro you could get close to twice your frame rate for TV but at f2.8 your shutter would be up around 1/400s.

I'm set at 30fps and the shutter's at 60. It can create quite a bright video so ND04 is only for cloud filled sky.

In the above video I had to change from ND08 to ND04, back to ND08 multiple times as the sun kept vanishing behind those lovely clouds.

Thanks for the tips, I am using the p4 advanced which is a lot better than my p3 advanced
