what does this part do?

I don't have my manual handy, but I don't remember seeing this part described in it anyway. Anyone know what this is? You can see it without opening the shell, if you look at the underside of the P2, by looking at the back of it and looking on the right side.

*facepalm* duh, my bad....you are correct. I just found the manual online and just saw it.

Okay, that explains what it is. Is it supposed to have some slight "play" to it, where it's a bit "loose" (maybe a millimeter or less of play) so that when you flip the craft upside down in your hands while in a very quiet room, you can hear it "click" as the button moves slightly?
