What are the S1 & S2 switches used for besides calibration?

I have not been able to find any information on any other purpose for the S1 and S2 switches. I understand that the switches have to be up and the S1 is toggled to set up calibration. Is there any other use?

I did not see any other use in the manual.

I have a Phantom 2 Vision.

Read the manual again.

Hint -- Page 33

Page 33 in the Manual I have v2013-11-01 talks about dJI Vision App Usage. Besides going through each page, I used the find feature of Acrobat to peruse the manual "Hint -- " Page 8 - nothing else for S1 or S2 shows up in the manual.
So my question is still not answered.

If anyone else can give me an idea of what the purpose of S1 and S2 on the RC are for other than what I already stated in my first post I would appreciate a helpful answer.

On the Phantom 1
S1 is flight mode (GPS, Atti, Manual)
S2 is IOC (Off, Heading hold, Home hold)

I am assuming it's the same on the Vision and Phantom 2.

You can also set the Off position on S2 to be a Go Home function.
