Externally the P4P itself is virtually identical to the P4P v2. You would see a different part number inside the battery compartment though.

The visible difference is on the controller. The v2 controller has the vent grill on the bottom front area. Controllers are not interchangeable between the two so if it works with a v2 controller then it is definitely a P4P v2.

The only outside visible difference is the color of the dji emblem dead center on the top of the ac. Silver=V1, Gold=V2
