Used but new to me phantom3 std have ???????

Just picked up P3 std..picked up used . My question is other than app on iPhone what does hooking up to pc for and what do I need on my windows pic to do so??

A lot of people use DJI Assistant 2 for either firmware updates or refreshing firmware or using some of the other features within the software. Easy to google and download on your PC. For the PS3, the DJI Go app will do pretty much all you need. It doesn't have a lot of the more advanced features of the later phantoms that require the use of assistant 2.

No worries we all have to start somewhere, I started out with a PS3 and apart from the wifi limitations, I really enjoyed it.
