USB port under the P3 decal?

What is the USB port just under the P3 decal at the front used for? Does it have the same purpose as the one on the gimbal?

No, it's not the same. You can use that port to access the raw flight logs that are stored on your Phantom. See more details here:

You'll need some type of log reader to view that data.

I've never been able to get that port to hook up to my computer. USB error pops up. I'll take a look at the link you listed. Thanks

It's for the Flux Capacitor. It's for sale on the DJI website.

I checked that, but the DJI website wasn't around in the 50's
