I saw that... crazy! It’s getting to be like the Jetsons.... (if anybody remembers that cartoon)
 
According to my UPS driver, they'll be fully automated so all he has to do is set the drone in its cradle on the truck and stick the package in its basket. The drone will deliver that package while he's delivering another, then meet him down the road for recovery. Sounds simple enough.

Something like this really makes me rethink the whole VLOS rules structure and requirement.
Does it make sense for a single pilot, watching their craft and it's actions, to be denied the legal ability to fly outside of VLOS when commercial entities can fly fleets of craft without VLOS and no dedicated operators?
