Hey guys i know it's been a while , but here's the final stage of what used to be a DJI FC40 :)

Spec's :

- Modified Q1000mm frame .
-12000mah 6s battery.
- Yi cam
- Modified cnc gimbal .
- SS 4110s motors.
- 17" CF props.
- MinNaza OSD.
- Homemade retracts landing gears.
- Video TX&RX : BOSCAM 2.4G RC802 +TS321 500mW
- Modified antennas on both control link sides TX/RX with a 5.8Ghz 2w booster.

Still using the original FC40's naza , TX&RX.

Range : i went as far as 7.07km / 23200ft
Flight Time : 36/38mins
AUW: 3700g.
M-M distance: 1000mm :)

Tweaking the gimbal and trying different PID's

Another long range run out in the desert .. 7.07km =23200ft

When i reached 7km i realized that my DV recorder wasn't working ,so i snapped a pic of my live OSD then headed back :)

Folks seem to have a hard time believing what started out as a FC40 is now going the distance and kicking butt along the way. IIVII, you are my hero... :D

Thank you sir for your awesome contributions.

Nice and clean looking too, good job. Just curious why you chose that big panel antenna, do you think that would give you better distance than a 6.5 turn circular polarized antenna or something like that from fpvlr?

I had this panel antenna lying around from another project so i gave it a try and it worked well , plus it only costs $25-$30 .. but from what i've heard fpvlr antennas are the best there is .

I'm happy with mine for sure, but they are a bit pricey. I got a 5.8 and a 2.4 one used on ebay for $45. So I can't complain
