I attempted to fly my drone today but it would not connect and when I viewed the reason it said that the drone must me on level ground. well it was and I cut on and off and moved to another location and changed from my mini ipad to iPhone and same results. I am a novice but can someone tell me what to do?
no, I flew it two days ago without issue. Of course I have no clue how to do that.
fairly new. flew several days as beginner and two days ago I flew over fields and trees without any problem. charged batteries for today and went out and could not connect because it was not level!
Are you turning it on while it sits on the ground or are you holding it at a angle while turning it on?
OP - you have never calibrated the IMU? That's one of the basics before your first flight. How else will the phantom know what level is? You're lucky that it must have been approximately within limits to start with otherwise it could all have gone horribly wrong.
