UK grounding DJI drones this september! You have to update!

The thread title is a bit misleading. The UK is not grounding DJI drones, DJI is requiring a mandatory update for Spark drones. Some Sparks had a problem where just dropped out of the sky. DJI made a firmware change to address the problem and made the logical decision that it was an important enough fix to make it a required update. If you don't update your Spark by September 1st, it will stop flying.

DJI is not "assisting this", they are driving this. With the Spark marketed to a much broader audience than the Phantoms and Mavic, it makes perfect sense to force an update that fixes a software error that could crash the Spark.
