Tethering my iPad

I have a Phantom 4. FYI ... My cell phone provider is ATT and I have an iPhone 6 with unlimited data. I use a new iPad mini and use Litchi most of the time.

I have thought of tethering my iPad to my iPhone.

Good idea or bad idea?

I have the same and would love to do that, but AT&T does not allow tethering with my unlimited plan.
