Testing a camera

I have 2 P3P 4k Camera units that were damaged in a crash. The usual damage was present, broken roll or yaw arm and broker ribbon cable.

I have repaired the physical damage using 3D printed parts, and I must say am very impressed with the parts quality and fit.

So now that the cameras are repaired, I would like to test them, however if I plug the camera into my bird and the camera has an electrical issue, can it damage my bird?

Also will it mess up any of the installed firmware.

Wow. I hope u get an answer as I have 2 also and want to test them on my p3
