I've found many links for attaching a Tarot T-2D to a Phantom 1, but I'm looking at buying a Tarot T-2D v.2 for my Phantom 2. It looks like I need an adapter plate made specifically for the P2. I believe that I've found a couple options for this that are from the US (where I'm located, meaning a little quicker shipping).
My questions are, what else do I need to order to get this gimbal mounted and working (battery, battery cables, etc.)? It looks like I should have a separate power source vs getting power from the Phantom. It also looks like the S3 lipo battery is the way to go, or is it???
It also looks like I will need either longer legs or leg extensions also. If I go with leg extensions / spacers, how much extension should I look for? I've seen 10mm and 30mm. I'm sure the 30mm would do the trick, but can I get away with just the 10mm?
Also, any mounting suggestions, tips or tricks that others have learned with this gimbal?
