Spektrum TX

Some of you guys most own a Spektrum. Do you use it with your Phantom? Which Spektrum would make the most sense... the most bang for the buck?

I'm currently looking at a Spektrum DX8...

DX8 or DX9 for sure. Not enough channels and switches on the DX6i.
