Luckely I was standing down the hill so it was not a problem to return. Otherwise it might be tricky to get the bird back.

Some thoughts about flying in the mist, at least in the U.S.: Don't, it's illegal.

Both 44809 (recreational rules) and 107 (non-recreational rules) have visibility requirements. Flying in the mist violates both of those.

Absolutelly agree. It is against the regulations, in US and elswhere.
But it might happen unintentionally as shown in the video.

I was curious about the lake. Why is it on top of a hill? I was thinking maybe a city reservoir water supply? Izvor?

Yes, it's for making the snow in winter. At summer it is just a lake. And it is arteficial.
