Brand new, never used. Bought with the intention of modding. Never got around to it. I just switched to a smaller travel backpack and I'm confident a modded remote won't fit 
Anyways, as stated, it's brand new and still has the plastic on the tablet holder. Tossed the box and other packing so, it's just the remote. This is the latest model - see pics.
