Greetings,

Just joined and wondered around looking for discussion of compatibility of the DJI Phantom software with Macintosh computers.

Has there been any indications of a Mac version becoming available? Or did I miss that information?

Thanks,

You haven't missed any information or much discussion.

If you want to connect to Mac, you need to install/run Windows on it - which also requires either using Bootcamp (which comes with new Macs), or running a PC emulator such as Parallels or WMware Fusion, or some others. (you can download a 30 day trial version of Parallels from their site)

Unfortunately, DJI isn't very communicative with it's users, as even their dealers seem to be in the dark about what the main company (which is based in Hong Kong) is up to.

I certainly hope they have some incentive to put out a Mac version of the software, considering how they Phantom is targeted towards a market segment that is rather Mac heavy.

*even in their demo video's they demonstrate running the software on a Mac running windows emulation!!@#
