Wow, that's great news and about time.
The reason I bought the SC was to use it with my M2 and P4pV2 and was very disappointed that it didn't.
Can't wait to give it a try, thanks for the good news

i have updated the smart controller but it still will not connect with the p4pv2

I update mine and I’ve made a test flight , everything works perfect and I have the same range like the original remote controller.

Maybe take a look at this video and see if it helps. It’s from about a year ago when a beta version allowed the linking, but hopefully it can get you going now as well:
