Silly question confused

After reading and reading just wondering on the p4pro if you don't buy the 5.5" tablet with it and you buy the 1400. One and use your own tablet do you still get the option of the pro useing either 2.4-5.8 or does there tablet do all that or is it in the transmitter.

The transmitter does all the radio stuff - not the tablet.
