Thanks. We get some really impressive storms in spring and early summer.and typically they are preceded by strong gusty winds so you have to be quick and fly out well into the wind.
These shots were of a really unusual front that came through a few years ago .It looked like a wave braking across the land .Unfortunately all I had with me was an iPhone 4

No, just sand. Unless you mean the pipe thing heading toward the water on the right side.

A lucky capture of some Superb Parrots which are becoming rare now.
@Gutch, I tried to clone out the scare crow .In the end it was just too difficult.
We also live in a gated community most of the residents have four legs though.

Some photos I took on my drive to the ‘city’ to pick up a couch. Forested area (by New Mexico standard) is the Burro Mnts just south of Silver City nm. The rocky area is just outside Tucson Az (right by Benson Az. It was abnormally humid for the southwest, we had just received our first moisture in 2 months. First time flying above clouds.
