I took my FC40 out for its maiden flight two days ago. Had a blast flying it in the local park. Just ordered a second battery and super bright headlight to help keep me pointed straight.
One thing I noticed was that the movies produced by the FC40 camera are 3 minutes long and sequential. That means the flight consists of a series of 3-minute movies meant to be played back-to-back. Auto dashcams work the same way so I was happy to discover the movies are compatible with http://dashcamviewer.com. This software plays the FC40 movies back-to-back so you can see your entire flight without loading individual movie files. It also allows you to speed up/slow down frame rate. Might come in handy for previewing your flights.
