I am selling my Phantom 3 soon. What steps should I ensure to remove all my personal data from the drone before selling. Is it simply a case of formatting the SD card, or is there more that needs done?
There is no personal information stored inside your drone. If you have pictures and videos on the SD card, format it. Make sure you do at least a full format (not Quick Format). If you are a Part 107 pilot and registered the drone itself then you need to go to Drone Zone and un-register it. If you are a recreational pilot then you're fine.
