That is a very sad but powerful video.

Wow - areas where its just total devastation.

Man, most of those homes were fairly new as was the Hilton Inn, and they burned all the way down to the foundation.

Some fire video showed the new homes and all the furnishings will burn in 2-3 minutes verses older homes and furnishings that may take a half hour or more to burn the same amount. They showed it to show how long someone had to get out of the house once it ignited. Probably why some of those got burned to death in their houses trying to escape.

We have a lot of those plastic tiled roofs and no doubt they'd go quick, and cheap drywall too. I can see why the old wooden shake roofs were targeted by the insurance companies to be replaced or risk being dropped or get their premiums jacked.

This will take months, and maybe years to fix.
