Can you somehow use the vision +controller on fc40, upgraded version control V3

The 5.8ghz RC Controller types are:

• Upgraded Version: NPVT581 <-- newer controller with camera tilt wheel on the left side
• Basic Version: PVT581 <-- original controller with no camera tilt wheel
• Alternative Version: RB-P58FS <-- third option coming

For the Phantom FC40:

Check if the Assistant PC program for the FC40 supports enabling the upgraded controller version.
DJI's website info:

• CLICK: Basic Version <-- says for the Vision, Vision+, and FC40
• CLICK: Upgraded Version <-- says for the Vision+

For the Phantom 2 Vision :

I assume the same as the Vision+. (or is it?)​

For the Phantom 2 Vision+ :

Must use the DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant_3.8 PC program to upgrade the Phantom 2 Vision firmware to support using the camera tilt wheel. There is a specific configuration check box indicating which type controller (new or old).​
