I had to replace the Gimbal Mount Plate a few weeks ago (I'd 'fixed' it before with gorilla glue). Before I replaced the part I was getting a 1.5-2 miles (using the antenna mods on the RC). After replacing the mount, I did a quick and dirty test to make sure it could fly, but didn't check distance.

Now, I've tried in two different locations where I know the range was good, and I'm loosing RC signal at around 220 meters. I still have video, just no RC control.

I'm guessing I screwed up the RC antenna on the AC. Does anyone have a pic of an 'open' P3S with an arrow pointing to the radio antenna? I'm about 100 that it's on the AC, since that's the last thing I opened up.

An update; I don't think it's an AC issue, since the remote antenna is never touched when replacing the gimbal mount plate. Any ideas?

Did you do any updates, between it was good and now?
