I have two Phantom 3 Pro's, one has the 300A controller, the other has the 300C controller. What is the difference, is one better for long distance flying or are they basically the same?

All I can remember from reading is that one, I think the A, has more components in the bird for processing. The latter models gave more work to the RC. IIFC the A is better for transmission.

If you have both you are in a good position to educate us in the difference.

Fly one p3p with the A model, then tether the C model to the same craft and fly the same path to see if there are any noticeable differences. Try for max flight distances.
