Range of P3S, ...P4 without line of sight

Has anyone checked the range of the phantoms from the standard up to the P4 to see if the range is substantially differences in range when there are objects, like trees, between the TX and the drone? Most of us would like to fly where there is direct line of sight but sometimes there may be a tree nearby, behind or beside us, which can block the line of sight.

I haven't actually checked, but since the Standard uses WiFi and the P3A-P4 uses Lightbridge, I would surmise that the Standard would have significantly less range behind an obstruction.
