Yup, right before it actually (calico basin). Valley of fire would b awesome, but will need to bring the Mavic, the pro is just too heavy lol

Well I know it's not legal to fly in VoF without some form of permission that only Hollywood can afford and I don't want to be fined for breaking the rules so I won't, but there are places, particularly above the visitor center, that would be unreal to fly and film. And, being winter, this would be a great time of the year as the rest of the year is too stinking hot!

BTW, the road out to VoF would be a great bike route...

Nice video. Saw this on YouTube and asked about the location. Near Red Rocks now looks familiar. VOF would be great but not worth getting into trouble. I'm content shooting video on motorcycle rides but some aerial shots would be killer.
