Purchase advice - Vision+ or with HD-3D with GoPro?

I am planning my 1st Phantom purchase (once I have learned to fly!) but am baffled as to if I should go for the V+ or a P2 with GoPro?

Your advice, advantages/disadvantages greatly appreciated.

If you already have a GoPro, you might want to go the P2 route. But then you'll need extra gear to get FPV (first person view).

If you don't have a GoPro, you will very likely spend more than $1,299 for a P2 with FPV.

The P2V+ is already set up with everything you need for FPV.

Sometimes I wish my P2V+ had the ability to record sound like a GoPro and perhaps also a waterproof camera case option, but other than that, I'm really happy with my choice.
