Mine upgrade with no issues... have not experienced any of the issues mentioned

It's usually a good thing not to jump on upgrades, because especially with Adobe software there is always a few bugs and problems in the new updates, so if you want something reliable as I do, it's usually best to wait a couple of months of great, like maybe waiting till its 2020 before upgrading to the 2020 version. [emoji16]
An age-old issue, not just with Adobe. Major upgrades are an issue. You should always keep your prior, working version on your computer for awhile after adding the upgrade. The installation software gives you that choice.
Apple has warned for years that 64 bit was coming, and that your software, at some point would have to adopt it. Catalina is your 64 bit deadline. Adobe 2019 products still function, but 2020 has issues even in the Catalina environment. You can search Adobe 2020 issues and find several pages with long lists of issues in the various programs.
