Hi guys
I'm sure their is plenty of these already but I thought I would share mine

Pre flight check List Phantom 4

1. Check all the batteries for charge IPad/Remote/ Quad
2. Remove camera protector fit Ng filter if needed.
3.Check mem card is in the slot.
4. Force Close all running software on IPad
Check for any metal structures (stay clear) use apps on your phone (magnetic field detector)
Start-up the DJI software/DJI remote and the craft from the location you intend to fly from.
5. Check Cam Settings, pick resolution, Shutter speed should be 2x the frame rate eg at 1080p x 25 = shutter speed of 50, Set lowest iso as possible, EV + 0.3.
6. Check signal strength for flight/video/Gps
Check compass and imu for interference make sure there showing green 1 and 2.
7. Make sure both aerials are up.
8. Check map as updated use Bluetooth tether from phone.
9. (IMPORTANT Before take off) Check yaw by checking on the map that the quads front is facing the same way has the arrow is pointing on the map.
10. Do not move the Quad after start-up, if you do turn off the craft relocate, restart the quad then recheck all Procedures from item 6
11. You should be good for take off

Perhaps checking props, free of dirt or bug bodies, cracked, nicked, balance (seems this is old school), attached properly

Motors rotate freely, no bearing noise

Body halves tight, motor screws secure, no cracks near motor mounts

Landing legs attached securely

No lens cap, gimbal moves freely and camera lens clean
