Precision Landing

Take off, make no corrections, let it get to 25-30, pause a couple of second and go fly. Don't go forward or sideways on take off, it must take pics for it to use and this will create problems.

Does anyone know if precision landing works on the original Phantom 4?
Thanks

I think that it does.

I just drop a penny on the ground and set the Phantom on top of it... comes within inches of it usually on precision landing.

Nope, I tried the precision landing twice yesterday and it missed the takeoff point by about 3 feet, in different directions. I took off manually, hovered at about 30 feet for maybe ten seconds and flew my mission. Guess I'll read up on it and try later.

Thanks,
Jim
