I just replaced some parts on the gimble arm. My question is does the arm need to be glued to the motor as shown in the picture? It seems to slide off easily. What is the best way to glue if so? Apologies if this has been asked before.

You need to watch some YouTube videos. There is NO glue involved with gimble/motor repairs. Motors should not come apart without substantial effort. Screws hold the assembly together. YouTube has how-to vids for proper repairs.
Good luck

The repair is done, do you see the photo? The motor has not come apart but the gimble arm is loose on the motor

That is a Phantom 3. You do have to glue the motor back in. When I repaired those I use Red Loctite. Make sure the motor is in the correct position before using it. After you use the Loctite let it sit for an hour or so.
