Point Sur Lightstation is a lighthouse at Point Sur, California, 135 miles south of San Francisco, on the 361-foot-tall rock at the head of the point. It was established in 1889 and is part of Point Sur State Historic Park

I used some Adobe stock rock music. I thought it was ok rather than my normal atmospheric or ambient type music for this one. Someone commented that I should consider different music. I thought it was alright myself.

1500+ meters! Remarkable. What kind a gear do you have to achieve such a distance?

Thanks guys..

I use a Phantom 2, Gopro 3+
Immersion RC 600mw Video TX
BlackPearl Monitor (Band F version)
mini iOSD, GPS tracker

3 Antennas: Ibcrazy 5 turn helical / BlueBeam Ultras. The Attennas are probably the most important part. 2 BlueBeam Ultras including one on my Phantom and one IBCrazy 5 Turn Helical on my Black Pearl Monitor (Diversity mode)

Nice setup, certainly effective. I have a DSLRPros Phantom 2, yet the furthest I ever was 650 meter, the screen started to have interference.
Checked out in Google Earth and found the exact place where you were standing.
There is a spectacular bridge in Big Sur, one day I will take a video there (I hope)

I always thought the DSLRPros kits looked cool. If you have a diversity monitor you could probably just add the 5 turn helical antenna and get a big boost of range. The right antennas I think are a big deal. I didn't use any of my stock ones. I know the helical is specifically designed for distance.

I did fly at that bixby bridge and posted a video a while back

I also did a quick flight at big creek bridge which is a nice view as well I thought. I posted a picture of that bridge too on my SkyPixel profile.
