phantomount x-2. will it work with a gopro 2

I am looking at a gimbal and everything I read says hero 3. The hero 2 is a little wider. Is anyone using the phantomount x-2 with a gopro hero2?

They have a Phantomount X-2 wide available for the Hero 2 or a Hero 3 with waterproof housing.
