Phantom Pilots of Southern California

My latest aerial video... "Arch Rock"

Arch Rock is a rock formation off the shore of Little Corona Beach. This small beach is at the end of a ravine called Buck Gully in the Newport Beach neighborhood of Corona Del Mar. This is a rocky cove that draws snorkelers, scuba divers, and tide pool aficionados.

This video was captured by my DJI Phantom 4 in 4K resolution on November 23, 2016

Did a quick, impromptu flight over the Chino Hills area. Not the best lighting as my flight path was directly into the sun.

Last weekend, we embarked on a hike through the San Gabriel Mountains in the Angeles National Forest to see the waterfalls in the Monrovia Canyon Park.

Oh, and we were able to get in a little drone-flying while we were there!

While driving out in the high desert, I drove by this water tower and thought to myself, "I've always wanted to fly around a water tower", and I did!

I've been capturing the California wildflowers lately. Here's a link to a list of sites I've visited over the last 3wks, along with my notes of the area. You may need a Google account to view this map. If you can visit these areas in the next two weeks, these are fun flights.

This is from a couple weeks ago. I've got more coming in the edit process.

Very good.

Anyone still come in this thread? I haven't flown in a while and looking at buying a new Mavic and passing down my P3A to my son who has flown with me before.
