I haven't really studied the subject too much, and by no means am an expert on this.
From an earlier online discussion I had on the subject, this is what I recall.
The DJI (in my case,
Phantom 4 pro) camera transfers it's data to the SD card at a certain, maximum speed.
The Sandisk Extreme SD card's capability of accepting data is well above that maximum.
A Pro card can perform at higher speeds, but the DJI camera/system can't take advantage of them.
I understood the performance gains of the Pro are realized when transferring the data from the card, back to the PC, if you have the appropriate USB reader.
