Hello all..
First time this has occurred and not certain if I'm in error, the RC or the aircraft.
I calibrated the compass, first time in nearly 3 flights of full batteries about an hour of flight time. After which I ran to my favorite launch site/baseball field. Set the aircraft where I always do, powered it up and the RC as well. The RC discovered and connected to the Phantom, GO Fly, confirmed home point, everything initially looked ok with the exception of limited status returns form the aircraft, such as no battery levels. I started the props went up a few feet and hovered, no H.S., D, H, or V.S data, could not switch from camera to video (record button non functional). So I suspended flight, shutdown the RC and the Phantom for a min.. After restart of both, all data was restored between the RC and the Aircraft and I could resume planned flight. This issue is the first incident I've experienced with data loss between the RC and Aircraft. My thoughts were, I didn't allow enough time for the new compass calibrations to set. Although the compass and IMU were barley in to the green on the grow bar.. Anyone else here experience this? Is this something I need to address from time to time?
