I have been searching the forums to find a way to delete Geo Fencing. Tried so many ways suggested, but could not find the 'links' suggested to do this. I connected my P4P to the Go4 App and finally found 'update firmware'. Did so and now when the cold and snow goes away, I will see if this got rid of Geo Fencing. If it works, will do the same with my Mavic Pro v1.
Fingers crossed on this one.
Also...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I'm struggling with the same problem on my Phantom P3 Standard. Non of the suggestions and videos have been successful so far. All its done is get me more grey hair.

Would you mind writing a brief description of the method/procedure you used?

Thanks in advance.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too.

Frustrating, isn't it? What I did was connect my drone to my phone using the little included adapter from original purchase, and it told me to update firmware. I did, but siince I haven't tried to fly, don't know if that took care of it or not. Hoping it did since DJI no longer supports the Phantom or the Mavic Pro. There hasn't been a firmware update in maybe over a year, so Im thinking this should stop Geo fencing. Fingers crossed on that!

Good luck.

Good luck. Let us know what happens when you do fly.

Live in Illinois but going to Florida in January. Will down there. Will post my results.
The way I have tested geo fencing issues is to go to the local airport (general aviation) where I know that I am in a zero altitude grid. Take the props off, and then try to take off... if the motors start and run up to take off speed, and I don't get any warnings I know I have removed the geo fencing.

Well it's now Jan 17, 2026 and I haven't gotten a chance to test Geofencing. In Florida now. In uncontrolled airspace here, so will need to go close to NAS Pensacola and try to start my P4P. It should let me know immediatly that I cannot start the motors.
