Phantom 4 firmware

Is there any where you can firmware for the phantom 4 without having to use the dpi go app or dpi assistant 2 app? I'm am having trouble connecting my drone to the computer and also not able to the connect to the rc which won't allow the drone to connect to the dpi go app. Please help.

No. It must be installed with one of those apps. If needed, you can find detailed firmware installation instructions here.

i have looked at every video available for the firmware update for the phantom 4 and i'm still not able to update the firmware. Is there anyway to do a hard reset just like they do for the phantom 2 drones?

You can only hard reset the Phantom 4 using the DJI Assistant 2 app.
