Flew my p3p this morning from my patio onto the adjacent golf course. In less than a minute, I got " critical battery level" warning and drone begins to land on the golf course. I'm fighting to prevent the landing but didn't know how to override. I don't have access to the course from my home so I wasn't anxious to set it down. I saw a friend who was walking his dog so I set it down and he retrieved it for me. The battery started at 80% and was now 45% after less than 2 minutes! I didn't have time to test bird with another battery. I'm thinking that this is a battery issue. Any other possibilities?

Fair enough. But it seems highly unusual for the battery level to drop from 80 to 45 in less than 2 minutes. True?
I wouldn't fly with any battery less than 95% charged - just my preference.
Inspect the battery for swelling. If the battery won't hold a full charge, discard.
