got a p3a with busted camera, got a replacement camera but theres no fan on top of gimble,just wondered if some cameras were made without fans and if its ok to use it like that with no fan

yes its advanced same as the busted one i have,got it of ebay,been watching utube vids on repairs and seen alot without fans

The Advanced does not have a fan, only the Pro has the fan fitted.

Yes, some were made with no fan. P3As do not have a fan.

The fan is normally only needed (and fitted) when it's a 4K-capable camera..

Yes, some were made with no fan. P3As do not have a fan.

i have p3a and that one as got a fan on, the thing that got me puzzled was that the replacement one had the mounting holes but then all the gimble top plate are the same pro. advan.so i can see what you mean,

So your busted camera has no fan and the replacement camera also has no fan... Problem solved!!

But it's easy done..... If someone asked me if my P3P had a camera fan fitted, I'd reply swiftly and confidently in the affirmative (I'm sure I must have seen it sometime) .... But the main reason would be because everyone here tells me that it just MUST have one!
