Was that a round trip full distance or one way ? How much and how hard are the extenders to fit please ? At mo I've only got 2.95 miles straight out. P3a no mods fitted

38900" is 7.37 miles and if you look at the flight log ya see that was 1 way and he made it back .
Just guessing he has a battery mod . Would like to see his TX set-up though .
Is good he made it back as the whole trip is over water .

Unless I am mistaken this is it .itelite panel and is an Adv. Might be wrong .Phantom 3 Pro/Adv. DBS modded Controller $400... Update.... Sold!!!!!!

Yup you're quite right.... It was my P3a... Withe DBS MOD.... Jus sold it this week and order a P4 already. I also plan to do this mod to the P4.. So worth it

This was my last flight along Ft Lauderdale beach... Got 3 plus miles... With strong head win coming back hime(max speed 19mph).... Was fracking out as the battery life jus started to drain super fast [emoji15]

Wow! That is some distance. Is DBSMODs located in WPB? I live in Boca Raton. Anyone get together to fly their drones? I just got mine last week and I already want to mod it! Send me a PM if there is a group I can join - would love to come out. Thanks in advance.

O.k now for the details everybody wants to know.
(1) what battery mod got you that distance with 18 minutes left
(2)did you fly Atti mode the whole way? It show Atti in yer screenshot.
(3) it's been said that Attie isn't the way to fly long-distance GPS mode is, do you disagree
