Pelican look alike case creating dust?

Interesting about the Plastidip ... But it's likely the deterioration is due to the hydrocarbon solvents. I have cameras stored in 12 year old Pelican branded cases and the foam looks perfect. Hopefully a P3 isn't leaking hydrocarbons.

I hear ya. The added benefit of plastidip is you can make smaller compartments and wedge stuff in there without risking the inadvertent removal of the pick/pluck. It sort of seals and fuses the block together. Still, my prevailing thought for the one out of a bunch of cases with dusty foam is either cleaning solvents or heat (from firearm, not from other sources).
