Parked the P2V+ 100 feet up over the lake and tried to fly my RC float plane around it.

Good idea. Will give it a try. I have a Mobius ActionCam that I've velcro'd to the Beaver before, but I haven't tried that with the Phantom in the air.

It's somewhat nerve wracking in that I'm parking the P2V+ and then flying the Beaver - by myself, and it's hard to judge distance and altitude with the plane. I thought I was flying closer to the P2V+ than I actually was.
