P4P+ DNGs 39MB, Sony RX10-III DNGs 25MB

Both are 20mp sensors, why the difference???!!
Sony RX10-III shoots .ARWs which I convert to DNGs
via Adobe free DNG converter before processing.

I do not have storage issues, just very curious.

Did you inbed the raw file into the DNG file when you converted? That would make the DNG file larger. Don't know if DJI inbeds it or not.

Thought about that, but it would be P4P+
that's doing the embedding as I do NOT
embed RX10-III .ARWs within RX10-III
DNGs. So, does drone DNG contain
an embedded "other" RAW. I am not
sure how to safely attempt extracting
hidden RAW with DJI DNG without
damaging DJI DNG whether or not
it does embed such a RAW...

If it did contain embedded RAW,
what advantage, if any, extracting
& processing it rather than DNG??!

The real question is why Sony ARW files are so large rather than anything to do with the Phantom's camera.
