P4P+ Controller issue

Hey guys, I searched for my specific issue. I found a guy with the same problem but I'm trying to avoid sending in my P4P+ remote. It basically doesn't get any maps in the Map area. I've had the drone for a week, I am connected to the internet via my home wifi when flying but the map never works. Anyone come across this yet?

Could it be a blessing in disguise? No maps means no restricted areas or warning areas.

Litchi is a fantastic flight program with different and better features than DJI GO! I have been flying it exclusively since November and love it. It cost about $24 but is well worth it. Check out the Litchi Mission Hub, go to www.flylitchi.com.
You'll love it and don't have to fool with DJI GO any longer.

I have heard some people deleted and reloaded the DJI GO app with some success.

Just tried deleting it, no joy.
I chatted with DJI and they had me do some weird resets, but they didn't work. I'll probably have them take it back and send me a new one. Ill keep using it for a bit, maybe the "no Maps" is a blessing in disguise.
